The Saturday Yankee software system is an up to date Microsoft Windows™ application. It conforms to the widely used MDI (Multiple Document Interface) application guidelines.

The program starts in a single window, and everything that it does after this is carried out in child windows within the main application. This makes it easy to use, and familiar to anyone who has experience of using the major windows applications such as Excel, Word etc.

As can be seen in the screenshot below, the system is driven by logical and intuitive menus. Everything is where you would expect it to be, and the functions of the program are split into logical areas, each of which is dealt with in it's own child window.

Great care has been taken to ensure that any number of processes can take place simultaneously without record locking problems, so data security is guaranteed all the time. The system is fully multi-user safe. This means that one instance of the Saturday Yankee program can have multiple activities going on at the same time for a single lottery. Further, multiple windows can be opened on multiple lotteries, as the system is capable of handling an unlimited number of lotteries, members and agents. If you have more than one computer and operator, then there can be an unlimited number of separate users working on a single lottery at any time.

Much attention has been given to ease of use, and speed of use. All major system functions are available to the experienced user at the touch of a hot key, and keyboard shortcuts are fully enabled throughout the system for those users who find the keyboard faster than the mouse !
