The system has been built using the latest industry standard tools and technologies, conforming to standard user interface guidelines.

The data is fully secure, and is held in industry standard formats. Single lottery installations use Microsoft Jet databases (Access), and multiple lottery systems are hosted on SQL Server 2000 or the Microsoft Data Engine 2000, depending on whether a separate data server PC is required.

Existing data held in other systems can be converted and transferred into your Saturday Yankee database.

No record is ever lost from the system, so data problems caused by user error can be easily corrected. As historical data builds up over time detailed progress and history reports can be generated, and bespoke and ad-hoc reporting can be easily accommodated if requested.

If required we can supply program objects with standard COM interfaces to allow integration with other software systems and programming tools.

Data transfer, system monitoring and system support can be carried out via TCP/IP over the internet, or direct link via telephone or ISDN. PC AnyWhere remote diagnostics are supported.

The system has built-in extendable interfaces which allow the easy addition of data transfer via standard office applications, and industry standard file formats. The program is ready to allow data input and output via additional hardware devices such as PDAs, Scanners, Barcode readers etc. Our software development team will be pleased to discuss these aspects in more detail with you.

System requirements are modest. We recommend a pentium or equivalent running at 400MHz or faster, 64Mb RAM, Microsoft Windows 98, NT4, 2000 or XP, together with a 16ppm workgroup laser printer.
